Build Your Dynasty
Divisions
VLL is setup in in divisions based on which region you're located in the world (Example: Central, Midwest, Pacific, Atlantic, etc.). We have it se up this way that way when your team competes, you will know who is best in that specific region.
The Fans
The seasons will be set up with 'Away and Home' matches, giving the home team the advantage of having their stadium decorated with their team logo and having the fan-base support them. When the home team takes the lead, the stadium will erupt with loud cheers and excitement. When your team is on a winning streak, more fans will come to your arena and cheer you on; and vice versa, the more losses you have, the less fans will be there for you. Not only are your fans computer bots cheering you on, but you can also have people online spectate your events live by going on to the Virtual Laser League Network. If there is a big event going on you can choose the team you would like to support, cheer them on and enjoy some great entertainment.
Season
There are four seasons in a year, each season a schedule will be given out at random along with your draft order. Through out the seasons you can keep an eye out for upcoming talent that you would like to draft on your team during the drafting period.
Free Agents
Players in The Virtual Laser League will be drafted onto teams during the 'Draft Lottery'. Along with seasonal drafts, free agents will be available through out that season, this will give the opportunity to choose the best players that would be suit your team. If you have a player that just isn't working out, or would like to gain a player that would benefit your team, you will be able to offer trading with another team.
Drafting & Trading
A player will be rated based on a variety of different exercises before you are drafted onto a team. After you go through these series of tests, you will be placed in a draft lottery for teams to pick you up. As you play, you will then be rated according to the skills you gain, this will allow teams to look for players that may suit their needs and potentially trade to get you on their team.
The Stadium
​This is your home turf, where you and your teammates are most comfortable. This is where your fans are there to cheer you on, you have
the home-court advantage. Design your stadium to you liking, if you have sponsors they will also be represented here.
Logo
Name your team and create your own logo to represent your group.
Team Choices
This is YOUR team: as your team progresses in it's career, sponsors will being to show more interest in you. You can choose whether or not you want to accept that sponsorship. There are many great benefits to having sponsorships: for example, your team will gain experience points through out your season, giving you the opportunity to add on to your stadium and add luxuries to you home arena. Some sponsors may ask you to change the name of your stadium to help advertise their company, these are some of the choices that you will have to face as a team owner.
Players of the Week
When you play well, you can be rewarded with 'Player of the Week'. This will be added into your career statistics which will be shown off on your schedule page, for all other players and teams to see.
MVP
Along with the 'Players of the Week" benefit, each season one player will be chosen and given the honor of MVP.
Hall of Fame
The 'Hall of Fame' nominees are chosen yearly: if you have a great year, you could be one of the four players to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
